The amendment adapts the Rules of Procedure to the Interinstitutional Agreement between the European Parliament and the Commission on procedures for implementing Council Decision 1999/468 EC laying down the procedures for the exercise of implementing powers conferred on the Commission, namely its paragraph 16. , where for the Regulatory procedure with scrutiny it is foreseen that the time-limit for scrutiny by the two branches of the legislature exceptionally starts to run when Parliament receives the final draft implementing measures in the language versions submitted to the members of the comitology- committee and not in all official languages.

– unter Hinweis auf die Studie von CEPII-CERIM mit dem Titel "Economic Impact of a Potential Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Union and ASEAN" vom 3. Mai 2006,

17. is tevreden met de toezegging van de VN-vertegenwoordiger voor Irak om de realtime-informatie aan de Commissie te verbeteren en is van mening dat de 13 maanden grondig onderzoek naar het gebruik van EU-middelen via internationale trustfondsen heeft bijgedragen tot een beter bewustzijn van het feit dat aansprakelijkheid voor het gebruik van het geld van de Europese belastingbetalers nodig is; verzoekt de Commissie nauw met het Parlement samen te werken met betrekking tot de herziening van de financiële en administratieve kaderovereenkomst tussen de Europese Gemeenschap en de Verenigde Naties (Financial and Administrative Framework Agreement between the European Community and the United Nations, FAFA);
17. begrüßt die Verpflichtung des UN-Beauftragten im Irak, die Information der Kommission in Echtzeit zu verbessern, und ist der Auffassung, dass die 13 Monate dauernde intensive Nachforschung bezüglich der Verwendung von EU-Mitteln durch internationale Treuhandfonds zu einer stärkeren Sensibilisierung für die Notwendigkeit, für die Verwendung der Gelder der EU-Steuerzahler Rechenschaft abzulegen, geführt hat; fordert die Kommission auf, bei der Revision des Rahmenabkommens über die Zusammenarbeit im Finanz- und Verwaltungsbereich zwischen der Europäischen Gemeinschaft und den Vereinten Nationen (FAFA) eng mit ihm zusammenzuarbeiten;

The European Community notes that the Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, which takes the place of signature of the Agreement between the European Community and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on the facilitation of the issuance of visas, has been accomplished and that this cannot be interpreted as acceptance or recognition by the European Community in whatever form or content of a denomination other than the „former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”.
