3. De lidstaten kunnen, volgens door hen vast te stellen regels, bepalen dat voor het sluiten van contracten en de levering van wijn voor distillatie, een vereniging van wijnbouwcoöperaties voor de hoeveelheid wijn die door de aangesloten coöperaties is bereid en afgeleverd, op haar verzoek wordt gelijkgesteld met een producent.
3. Member States may stipulate, in accordance with rules which they determine, that for the purposes of concluding contracts and delivering wine for distillation, associations of wine-growers' cooperatives may on request be deemed to be producers for those quantities of wine produced and handed over by member cooperatives.

Deze wijziging strekt ertoe voor de toepassing van de distillatie verenigingen van wijnbouwcoöperaties definitief gelijk te stellen met producenten.
This amendment aims at treating, in a permanent way, associations of winegrowers cooperatives as producers, for the purposes of wine distillation.
