Wanneer de constructie van het voertuig zodanig is dat een positie van de microfoon overeenkomstig figuur 2 niet mogelijk is als gevolg van de aanwezigheid van objecten die deel uitmaken van het voertuig (b.v. reservewiel, brandstoftank, accubak), moet op het moment van de meting een tekening worden gemaakt waarop duidelijk de voor de microfoon gekozen positie staat aangegeven.
Where the design of the vehicle is such that the microphone cannot be located as shown in Figure 2 because of the presence of obstacles which form part of the vehicle (e.g. spare wheel, fuel tank, battery compartment), a drawing clearly indicating the position for the microphone must be made when the measurement is conducted.
