D. overwegende dat de SLMM heeft vastgesteld dat de 17 hulpverleners, werknemers van de Franse humanitaire organisatie Action Against Hunger , door regeringstroepen in Muttur zijn doodgeschoten,
D. whereas the SLMM has found that 17 aid workers employed by the French humanitarian agency Action Against Hunger had been shot dead by government forces in Muttur,

3. betreurt ten diepste de moord op de 17 Srilankanen die voor de Franse NGO Action Against Hunger in Muttur werkten; erkent dat de regering een diepgaand onderzoek naar dit incident is gestart en dat hieraan wordt deelgenomen door een door de Australische regering detacheerde forensisch deskundige; herhaalt zijn eis om een effectief en onpartijdig onderzoek naar alle vermeende gruweldaden en ernstige mensenrechtenschendingen, onder toepassing van de volle kracht van de wet tegen allen die medeplichtig aan dergelijke activiteiten zijn geweest;

Deeply deplores the murder of the 17 Sri Lankans working for the French NGO Action Against Hunger in Muttur; acknowledges the Government's initiation of a full investigation into the incident and the participation of a forensic expert seconded by the Government of Australia; reiterates its demand for effective and impartial investigations into all alleged atrocities and serious human rights violations and for the full force of the law to be brought to bear against those found to have been complicit in such activities;
