These include the European Investment Bank’s Initiative 2000 for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and the Information Society, and the High Level Group reports on the sustainability of our social protection systems and on combating social exclusion, which have already lead to a working Social Protection Committee. Finally, the Council has considered the Commission initiative on combating exclusion.
