IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

In wezen is er een overgang nodig naar een optimaal en hernieuwbaar gebruik van biologische hulpbronnen en naar duurzame primaire productie- en verwerkingssystemen voor de productie van meer voedsel, vezels en andere producten van biologische oorsprong met minimale input, milieueffecten en broeikasgasemissies, verbeterde ecosysteemdiensten, zonder afval en met voldoende maatschappelijke waarde.
In essence, a transition is needed towards an optimal and renewable use of biological resources and towards sustainable primary production and processing systems that can produce more food, fibre and other bio-based products with minimised inputs, environmental impact and greenhouse gas emissions, enhanced ecosystem services, zero-waste and adequate societal value.

Artikel 1, lid 3, van Verordening (EG) nr. 2160/2003 bepaalt dat die verordening niet van toepassing is op de primaire productie van pluimvee voor particulier huishoudelijk gebruik of de primaire productie van pluimvee die leidt tot rechtstreekse levering, door de producent, van kleine hoeveelheiden primaire producten aan de eindverbruiker of plaatselijke detailhandelszaken die de producten rechtstreeks aan de eindverbruiker leveren.
Article 1(3) of Regulation (EC) No 2160/2003 states that this Regulation does not apply to primary production of poultry for private domestic use or leading to the direct supply, by the producer, of small quantities of primary products to the final consumer or to local retail establishments directly supplying the primary products to the final consumer.

Niettemin dient deze verordening, indien ondernemingen die in de sectoren van de primaire productie van landbouwproducten, de visserij, de aquacultuur en het goederenvervoer over de weg en daarnaast ook in andere sectoren of activiteiten actief zijn, op die andere sectoren of activiteiten (zoals de inzameling van afval op zee) van toepassing te zijn, mits de lidstaten ervoor zorgen dat de activiteiten in de uitgesloten sectoren geen de-minimissteun uit hoofde van deze verordening genieten, zulks met passende middelen, zoals een scheiding van activiteiten of een onderscheid in kosten.
However, if undertakings are active in the sectors of primary production of agricultural products, fisheries, aquaculture or road freight transport as well as in other sectors or activities, this Regulation should apply to those other sectors or activities (such as for example collection of litter at sea) provided that Member States ensure that the activities in the excluded sectors do not benefit from the de minimis aid under this Regulation, by appropriate means such as separation of activities or distinction of costs.

Wanneer de steun (hetzij rechtstreeks, hetzij via ondernemingen die landbouwproducten verwerken en afzetten) wordt verleend aan ondernemingen die zich toeleggen op de primaire productie van landbouwproducten, mag de subsidie (of het bruto-equivalent daarvan) niet meer bedragen dan 15 000 EUR per onderneming; steun aan ondernemingen die zich toeleggen op de primaire productie van landbouwproducten, wordt niet vastgesteld op basis van de prijs of de hoeveelheid van de producten die in de handel worden gebracht; steun aan ondernemingen die zich toeleggen op de verwerking en de afzet van landbouwproducten, wordt niet vastgesteld op basis van de prijs of de hoeveelheid van de producten die door de betrokken ondernemingen worden aangekocht bij primaire producenten of die door hen in de handel worden gebracht”.
Where the aid is granted to undertakings active in the primary production of agricultural products (either directly or passed on from undertakings processing and marketing agricultural products), the cash grant (or gross grant equivalent) does not exceed EUR 15 000 per undertaking; aid to undertakings active in the primary production of agricultural products is not fixed on the basis of the price or quantity of products put on the market; aid to undertakings active in the processing and marketing of agricultural products is not fixed on the basis of the price or quantity of products purchased from primary producers or put on the market by the undertakings concerned’.

This theme is further developed in the Community's 6th Environmental Action Programme (6EAP), [4] with the overall aim of achieving "better resource efficiency and resource and waste management to bring about more sustainable production and consumption patterns, thereby decoupling the use of resources and the generation of waste from the rate of economic growth and aiming to ensure that the consumption of renewable and non-renewable resources does not exceed the carrying capacity of the environment".

17". primaire productie": de productie, het fokken en het telen van primaire producten tot en met het oogsten, het melken en de productie van landbouwhuisdieren, voorafgaande aan het slachten; dit begrip omvat tevens de jacht, de visvangst, en de oogst van wilde producten.
