TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

In verband hiermee heeft de rapporteur zich op 17 januari 2013 naar Luxemburg begeven om deze vragen te bespreken met de president, de griffier en de rechters van het Gerecht en ook met de president van het Hof van Justitie.
In this connection, the rapporteur went to Luxembourg on 17 January 2013 to discuss these questions with the President, Registrar and Judges of the General Court and with the President of the Court of Justice.

Na de gedeeltelijke vervanging van de leden van het Hof van Justitie , is de heer Vassilios Skouris, sinds 7 oktober 2003 president van het Hof van Justitie, herkozen tot president van het Hof van Justitie van de Europese Unie voor de periode van 9 oktober 2012 tot 6 oktober 2015.
Following the partial replacement of the Members of the Court of Justice , Mr Vassilios Skouris, President of the institution since 7 October 2003, has been re-elected President of the Court of Justice of the European Union for the period from 9 October 2012 to 6 October 2015.

Artikel 7 van het Reglement voor de procesvoering van het Hof van Justitie bepaalt: „De rechters kiezen onmiddellijk na hun gedeeltelijke vervanging, bedoeld in artikel 253 VWEU, uit hun midden voor drie jaar de president van het Hof”.
Pursuant to Article 7 of the Rules of Procedure of the Court of Justice: ‘The Judges shall, immediately after the partial replacement provided for in Article 253 TFEU, elect one of their number as President of the Court for a term of three years’.

2. merkt op dat het, gelet op de gedeeltelijke vervanging van de leden van het Hof van Justitie op 7 oktober 2012 en de dringende noodzaak om een oplossing te vinden voor de goede werking van het Gerecht voor ambtenarenzaken, noodzakelijk is dat de voorgestelde wijzigingen van het Statuut betreffende het Hof van Justitie, de organisatie van het Gerecht en het Gerecht voor ambtenarenzaken onverwijld worden aangenomen, zoals aangegeven in de brief van de president van het Hof van Justitie van de Europese Unie van 8 mei 2012;
2. Notes that, having regard to the partial renewal of the Court of Justice on 7 October 2012 and the urgent need to find a solution that guarantees the proper functioning of the Civil Service Tribunal, it is necessary for the proposed amendments to the Statute relating to the organisation of the Court of Justice and that of the General Court and to the Civil Service Tribunal to be adopted without further delay, as pointed out in the letter of the President of the Court of Justice of the European Union of 8 May 2012;

(7 bis) Gelet op de gedeeltelijke vervanging van de leden van het Hof van Justitie op 7 oktober 2012 en in overeenstemming met de brief van de president van het Hof van Justitie van de Europese Unie van 8 mei 2012, dienen in eerste instantie alleen de wijzigingen van het statuut betreffende de organisatie van het Hof van Justitie en het Gerecht te worden aangenomen.
(7a) With a view to the partial renewal of the Court of Justice on 7 October 2012 and in accordance with the letter of the President of the Court of Justice of the European Union of 8 May 2012, as a first step, only modifications to the Statute concerning the organisation of the Court of Justice and the General Court should be adopted.

Een dialoog tussen het Hof en de Raad, die van start ging met een brief van 25 september 2006 van de president van het Hof, resulteerde in voorstellen tot wijziging van het Statuut en het reglement voor de procesvoering van het Hof, met het oog op de invoering van een nieuwe "spoedprocedure" voor een prejudiciële beslissing.
On 25 September 2006, by letter from its President, the Court started a dialogue with the Council that resulted in proposed amendments to its Statute and Rules of Procedure with a view to creating a new "urgent procedure" for a preliminary ruling.
