However, there is a need for external financial audits to be conducted on the utilisation, under this partnership agreement, of the financial resources allocated by the EU to the Malagasy Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (AMPA), which funds the national fisheries policy, in order to verify the expenditure declared.
