1. Ten aanzien van het gebied waarop het Verdrag inzake Antarctica van toepassing is, zijn alle verdragsluitende partijen, ongeacht of zij partij zijn bij het Verdrag inzake Antarctica, in hun onderlinge betrekkingen gebonden door de artikelen IV en VI van het Verdrag inzake Antarctica.
