Wat de financiële wijzigingen betreft, is de nationale bijdrage aan het ESF-deel om budgettaire redenen verminderd en moest een kleine overschrijding van de bijdrage van de Structuurfondsen aan de technische bijstand gecorrigeerd worden.

The results of the evaluation are intended to be used in the: (i) drafting of the next report on economic and social cohesion, (ii) implementation of the ESF in 2000-2006, (iii) policy development for the future of the ESF, (iv) negotiation of ESF programmes with new Member States following EU enlargement, and (v) analysis of the ESF contribution to the European Employment Strategy.
