Verder moet het toegestaan worden om veilig verpakte monsters van alle vogelsoorten onder de verantwoordelijkheid van de Turkse bevoegde autoriteit rechtstreeks naar een erkend laboratorium in een lidstaat te zenden met het oog op laboratoriumdiagnostiek, onder meer voor tests overeenkomstig het Manual of Diagnostic Tests and Vaccines for Terrestrial Animals van de OIE.
Furthermore, specimens collected from any type of birds which are safely packaged and sent directly under the responsibility of the Turkish competent authority to an approved laboratory in a Member State for laboratory diagnosis, including the tests in accordance with the Manual of Diagnostic Tests and Vaccines for Terrestrial Animals of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), should be authorised.
