5. Alle boekhoudstukken die betrekking hebben op de uitvoering van een vastlegging, worden bewaard gedurende een periode van vijf jaar te rekenen vanaf de datum van het in artikel 50 bedoelde besluit tot kwijting voor de financiële uitvoering van de middelen van het 11e EOF in het begrotingsjaar waarin de vastlegging boekhoudkundig werd afgesloten.
5. All accounting records referring to the fulfilment of a commitment shall be kept for a period of five years from the date of the decision giving discharge in respect of the financial implementation of 11th EDF resources, referred to in Article 50, concerning the financial year during which the commitment was closed for accounting purposes.

4. All accounting records referring to the fulfilment of a commitment shall be kept for a period of five years from the date of the decision giving discharge in respect of the financial implementation of EDF resources, referred to in Article 142, concerning the financial year during which the commitment was closed for accounting purposes.

Hierbij was inderdaad sprake van een algemene toenadering met het oog op bijvoorbeeld een verduidelijking van de procedures voor de vastlegging van een uitgave en het vereiste visum van de financieel controleur of de modernisering van bepaalde praktijken die verband houden met boekhoudkundige operaties of de aanwending van de middelen.
