1. Het Agentschap werkt samen met de Commissie, andere instellingen van de Unie, de Europese Dienst voor extern optreden, het EASO, Europol, het Bureau van de Europese Unie voor de grondrechten, Eurojust, het Satellietcentrum van de Europese Unie, het Europees Agentschap voor maritieme veiligheid en het Europees Bureau voor visserijcontrole, evenals met andere organen en instanties van de Unie, op het gebied van de onder deze verordening vallende aangelegenheden, met name om uitdagingen op het vlak van migratie beter aan te pakken en grensoverschrijdende criminaliteit, zoals de smokkel van migranten, mensenhandel en terrorisme, te voorkomen en op te sporen.
1. The Agency shall cooperate with the Commission, other Union institutions, the European External Action Service, EASO, Europol, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, Eurojust, the European Union Satellite Centre, the European Maritime Safety Agency and the European Fisheries Control Agency as well as other Union bodies, offices and agencies in matters covered by this Regulation, and in particular with the objectives of better addressing migratory challenges and preventing and detecting cross-border crime such as migrant smuggling, trafficking in human beings and terrorism.

Het agentschap werkt samen met de Commissie, andere instellingen van de Unie, de Europese Dienst voor extern optreden, Europol, het Europees Ondersteuningsbureau voor asielzaken, het Bureau van de Europese Unie voor de grondrechten, Eurojust, het Satellietcentrum van de Europese Unie, het Europees Agentschap voor maritieme veiligheid en het Europees Bureau voor visserijcontrole, evenals met andere instanties en organen van de Unie, op het gebied van de onder deze verordening vallende aangelegenheden, met name om irreguliere immigratie en grensoverschrijdende criminaliteit, waaronder de facilitering van irreguliere immigratie, mensenhandel en terrorisme, te voorkomen en te bestrijden.
The Agency shall cooperate with the Commission, other Union institutions, the European External Action Service, Europol, the European Asylum Support Office, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, Eurojust, the European Union Satellite Centre, the European Maritime Safety Agency and the European Fisheries Control Agency as well as other Union, agencies, bodies, offices in matters covered by this Regulation, and in particular with the objectives of preventing and combating irregular immigration and cross-border crime including the facilitation of irregular immigration, trafficking in human being and terrorism

71. is verheugd over het besluit van de Raad om operatie EUFOR Libië uit te voeren ter ondersteuning van humanitaire-hulpoperaties, als hierom door het VN-Bureau voor de Coördinatie van Humanitaire Aangelegenheden wordt verzocht; roept de Raad op onverwijld humanitaire hulp aan Misrata en andere dichtbevolkte gebieden te verlenen, met name via zee; is ernstig bezorgd over het toenemende aantal slachtoffers van het conflict in Libië en het gerapporteerde gebruik van clustermunitie en andere wapens door het regime van Kadhafi tegen de burgerbevolking; betreurt ten zeerste het feit dat het mandaat van EUFOR beperkt is gebleven tot humanitaire aspecten, hoewel er voldoende reden bestond om de EU het voortouw te laten nemen bij de maritieme controle (handhaving van het embargo en assistentie aan Frontex) en bij humanitaire hulp aan en bescherming van de burgers van Libië; herinnert in verband hiermee aan zijn resolutie van 10 maart 2011, waar het de HV/VV verzocht de mogelijkheid te onderzoeken het embargo te bekrachtigen door gebruik te maken van luchtmacht- en marinefaciliteiten van het GVDB; betreurt het besluit van sommige lidstaten om tegen een ruimer mandaat voor EUFOR Libië hun veto te stellen en tegelijk soortgelijke operaties uit te voeren in hun eentje; vraagt dat een begin wordt gemaakt met de planning van een eventuele GVDB-operatie in Libië op middellange tot lange termijn op het gebied van de hervorming van de veiligheidssector, institutionele opbouw en grensbeheer;
71. Welcomes the decision of the Council to conduct the operation EUFOR Libya in support of humanitarian assistance operations if requested by UN OCHA; appeals to the Council to provide immediate humanitarian support to Misrata and other population centres, specifically by naval means; is profoundly concerned about the increasing number of victims of the conflict in Libya and the Gaddafi regime's reported use of cluster munitions and other arms against the civilian population; deeply regrets that the mandate of EUFOR was limited to humanitarian aspects when there was a clear case for the EU to take the lead in maritime surveillance (embargo enforcement and assistance to Frontex) and in humanitarian assistance and protection of civilians in Libya; recalls in this regard its resolution of 10 March 2011 calling on the HR/VP to explore the option of enforcing the embargo by using air and naval CSDP assets; regrets the decision of some Member States to veto a broader mandate for EUFOR Libya while at the same time conducting such operations on their own; calls for a start to be made on planning a potential CSDP operation in the medium to long term in Libya in the areas of security sector reform, institution-building and border management;

71. is tevreden met het besluit van de Raad om operatie EUFOR Libië uit te voeren ter ondersteuning van humanitaire-hulpoperaties, als hierom door het VN-Bureau voor de Coördinatie van Humanitaire Aangelegenheden wordt verzocht; betreurt evenwel het feit dat aanzienlijke vertraging is opgelopen bij het planningsproces, zodat geen snelle ontplooiing op het terrein mogelijk zal zijn; betreurt ten zeerste het feit dat het mandaat van EUFOR beperkt is gebleven tot humanitaire aspecten, hoewel er voldoende reden bestond om de EU het voortouw te laten nemen bij de maritieme controle (handhaving van het embargo en assistentie aan Frontex) en bij humanitaire hulp aan en bescherming van de burgers van Libië; herinnert in verband hiermee aan zijn resolutie van 10 maart 2011, waar het de HV/VV verzocht de mogelijkheid te onderzoeken het embargo te bekrachtigen door gebruik te maken van luchtmacht- en marinefaciliteiten van het GVDB; betreurt het besluit van sommige lidstaten om tegen een ruimer mandaat voor EUFOR Libië hun veto te stellen en tegelijk soortgelijke operaties uit te voeren in hun eentje; vraagt dat een begin wordt gemaakt met de planning van een eventuele GVDB-operatie in Libië op middellange tot lange termijn op het gebied van de hevorming van de veiligheidssector, institutionele opbouw en grensbeheer;
