Uw vraag heeft immers betrekking op CFL-lampen, zogenaamde compact fluorescent lamps, dat wil zeggen compacte fluorescentielampen, en daarom dient te worden overwogen om onze pr inzake de ecodesignrichtlijn te intensiveren en de burgers over LED-lampen en de nieuwe generatie gloeilampen met halogeentechniek te informeren.
The question relates to CFL, or compact fluorescent lamps. For this reason, we need to consider increasing our public relations activities on the ecodesign directive so that we can inform citizens about LED lights and new-generation halogen bulbs.

DC-CFL-i worden in geïsoleerde of rurale gebieden gebruikt in mijnen en schuilkelders, op campings en vaartuigen, enz. Op grond hiervan werd geconcludeerd dat DC-CFL-i geen gebruikelijke gloeilampen kunnen vervangen en dat AC-CFL-i en DC-CFL-i onderling niet verwisselbaar zijn.

The Council would first like to draw the member’s attention to the answer of 5 March 2007 to written question E-0080/07 and the answer of 23 May 2007 to oral question H-0291/07 concerning anti-dumping duties on imports of integrated electronic compact fluorescent lamps (CFL-i) originating in the People’s Republic of China.

(EN) Zoals de geachte afgevaardigde weet, is de Commissie in juli 2006 begonnen met een onderzoek om vast te stellen of het gerechtvaardigd is de antidumpingmaatregelen voor de invoering van CFL-i-lampen afkomstig uit de Volksrepubliek China met nog eens vijf jaar te verlengen.
(EN) As the Honourable Member is aware, a Commission investigation was initiated in July 2006 to assess whether maintaining anti dumping measures on imports of CFL(i) lamps, originating in the People's Republic of China, would be justified for a further period of five years.
