CGIAR international agricultural Aid for agricultural research: research centres contribution to 1993 budgets ECU 10 000 000 GRANT This programme is a continuation of Community aid first granted in 1977 to international agricultural research centres sponsored by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research and involving seven research centres (CIAT, CIMMYT, CIP, ICRISAT, IIMI, IRRI, and ISNAR), which are already beneficiaries, and CIFOR and ICLARM.1 The programme follows the general 1991-95 guidelines laid down for aid to developing countries in Asia and Latin America, which stipulate that the Community's support for international agricultural research should be continued.
