Bereid met de lidstaten van de Europese Unie die zulks wensen overeenkomsten te sluiten inzake overname van illegale immigranten, wijst de Islamitische Republiek Pakistan erop dat deze verbintenis uitsluitend de bereidheid van Pakistan betreft onderhandelingen te openen met het doel met de lidstaten van de Europese Unie die zulks wensen voor beide partners aanvaardbare overeenkomsten te sluiten inzake overname van illegale immigranten.
In agreeing to the undertaking ‘to conclude readmission agreements with the Member States of the European Union which so request’, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan desires to make it clear that the undertaking exclusively represents Pakistan’s readiness to enter into negotiations with the objective of concluding mutually acceptable readmission agreements with the Member States of the European Union which so request.

GELET OP de uitstekende betrekkingen en de banden van vriendschap en samenwerking tussen de Europese Gemeenschap, hierna „de Gemeenschap” te noemen, en de Islamitische Republiek Pakistan, hierna „Pakistan” te noemen,
CONSIDERING the excellent relations and links of friendship and cooperation between the European Community, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Community’, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, hereinafter referred to as ‘Pakistan’,

De Samenwerkingsovereenkomst tussen de Europese Gemeenschap en de Islamitische Republiek Pakistan wordt namens de Gemeenschap goedgekeurd.
The Cooperation Agreement between the European Community and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is hereby approved on behalf of the Community.
