Omschrijving: Hypersomnia is gedefinieerd als een toestand van hetzij buitensporige slaperigheid overdag en aanvallen van slaap (niet verklaarbaar door een onvoldoende hoeveelheid slaap) of een vertraagde overgang naar de volledige waaktoestand na het wakker worden.
