TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

De noodzaak om voor heel Europa geldende normen voor de onafhankelijkheid, integriteit en verantwoordingsplicht van de nationale en communautaire statistische instanties vast te stellen, was een reden voor het bij Besluit 89/382/EEG, Euratom van de Raad opgerichte Comité statistisch programma om tijdens de vergadering van 24 februari 2005 unaniem zijn goedkeuring te verlenen aan de Praktijkcode Europese statistieken („de Praktijkcode”), zoals deze was voorgesteld in de aanbeveling van de Commissie van 25 mei 2005 inzake de onafhankelijkheid, integriteit en verantwoordingsplicht van nationale en communautaire statistische instanties.
The need to establish Europe-wide standards on the independence, integrity and accountability of the national and Community statistical authorities led the Statistical Programme Committee established by Council Decision 89/382/EEC, Euratom , unanimously to endorse, at its meeting on 24 February 2005, the European Statistics Code of Practice (hereinafter referred to as the Code of Practice) as presented in the Recommendation of the Commission of 25 May 2005 on the independence, integrity and accountability of the national and Community statistical authorities.

(4) In het licht van de goedkeuring van Richtlijn xxx moet Beschikking 90/424/EEG worden gewijzigd, zodat de Gemeenschap ook financiële steun kan verlenen voor uitroeiingsmaatregelen van de lidstaten ter bestrijding van laagpathogene virusstammen van aviaire influenza die in hoogpathogene stammen kunnen muteren.
(4) In the light of the adoption of Directive xxx it is appropriate to modify Decision 90/424/EEC so that Community financial assistance may also be granted for those eradication measures carried out by the Member States to combat avian influenza virus strains of low pathogenicity that may mutate into highly pathogenic strains.

2. Met ingang van 1 juli 2003 mogen de lidstaten geen EG-typegoedkeuring meer verlenen overeenkomstig artikel 4, lid 1, van Richtlijn 70/156/EEG voor een nieuwe vervangingskatalysator, als deze niet overeenstemt met een type waarvoor goedkeuring is verleend overeenkomstig Richtlijn 70/220/EEG, zoals gewijzigd bij deze richtlijn.
2. With effect from 1 July 2003, Member States shall no longer grant EC type-approval pursuant to Article 4(1) of Directive 70/156/EEC or a new replacement catalytic converter if it is not type-approved in compliance with Directive 70/220/EEC, as amended by this Directive.

2. Member States may no longer grant EEC type-approval or issue the document provided for in the last indent of Article 10 (1) of Directive 70/156/EEC, and shall refuse national type-approval, of types of diesel engines and types of vehicle propelled by a diesel engine:

Deze dienst controleert met name of de bevestiging van de beveiligingsinrichting overeenstemt met die welke bij de EEG-goedkeuring voor onderdelen is gekeurd.4.De houder van de EEG-goedkeuring kan verzoeken deze tot andere typen beveiligingsinrichtingen uit te breiden.5.De bevoegde instanties verlenen de gevraagde uitbreiding op de volgende voorwaarden:5.1.voor het nieuwe type beveiligingsinrichting en de bevestiging daarvan aan de trekker moet een EEG-goedkeuring voor onderdelen zijn verleend; 5.2.het nieuwe type moet zijn ontworpen om te worden gemonteerd op het trekkertype waarvoor de uitbreiding van de EEG-goedkeuring wordt aangevraagd; 5.3.de bevestiging van de beveiligingsinrichting aan de trekker moet overeenstemmen met die welke bij verlening van de EEG-goedkeuring onderdelen is gekeurd.6.Een formulier waarvan het model in bijlage IX is aangegeven, wordt als bijlage bij het EEG-goedkeuringsformulier gevoegd voor iedere toegestane of geweigerde goedkeuring of uitbreiding van goedkeuring.7.Indien de EEG-goedkeuringsaanvraag voor een type trekker wordt ingediend te zamen met de aanvraag voor EEG-goedkeuring voor onderdelen voor een beveiligingsinrichting die bestemd is om te worden gemonteerd op het trekkertype waarvoor de EEG-goedkeuring wordt aangevraagd, zijn de punten 2 en 3 niet van toepassing.
In particular, it shall ascertain whether the attachment of the component type-approval was granted.4.The holder of the EEC type-approval may ask for its extension to other types of protection structures.5.The competent authorities shall grant such extension on the following conditions:5.1.The new type of protection structure and its tractor attachment must have received EEC component type-approval.5.2.The new type of protection structure must be designed to be mounted on the type of tractor for which the extension of the EEC type-approval is requested.5.3.The attachment of the protection structure to the tractor must correspond to that which was tested when EEC component type-approval was granted.6.A certificate, of which a model is shown in Annex IX, shall be annexed to the EEC type-approval certificate for each type-approval or type-approval extension which has been granted or refused.7.If the application for EEC type-approval for a type of tractor is introduced at the same time as the request for EEC component type-approval for a type of protection structure intended to be mounted on the type of tractor for which type-approval is requested, the checks laid down in 2 and 3 are not applicable.
