Gezien de aanwezigheid van bestaande, voor de aan het Galileo-referentiecentrum toegewezen taken geschikte installaties en voorzieningen en gelet op de veiligheidsbehoeften van dat centrum en de aan zijn werking verbonden technische en budgettaire beperkingen, blijkt het terrein van Estec in Noordwijk (Nederland), dat toebehoort aan het Europees Ruimteagentschap, bovendien het meest geschikt om het centrum te ontvangen.
Furthermore, in the light of the presence of existing installations and equipment suitable for the tasks assigned to the Galileo reference centre, the security needs, and the technical and budgetary constraints linked to its operation, it would seem that the ESTEC site in Noordwijk, in the Netherlands, owned by the European Space Agency, is best placed to host the centre.
