(11) Bijlage V bij Richtlijn 67/548/EEG tot vaststelling van methoden voor de fysisch-chemische eigenschappen, toxiciteit en ecotoxiciteit van stoffen en preparaten, is bij Richtlijn 2006/121/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad met ingang van 1 juni 2008 geschrapt.

An assessment of ecotoxicity shall be compulsory for any application for marketing authorization for an immunological veterinary medicinal product other than applications submitted in accordance with Article 12(3)(j) and 13(1).

5.2. Beoordeling van de ecotoxiciteit is verplicht bij elke aanvraag voor het in de handel brengen van een geneesmiddel voor diergeneeskundig gebruik, met uitzondering van aanvragen die worden ingediend overeenkomstig artikel 12, lid 3, onder j), en artikel 13, lid 1.
5.2. An assessment of ecotoxicity shall be compulsory for any application for marketing authorization for a veterinary medicinal product other than applications submitted in accordance with Articles 12(3)(j) and 13(1).

Het doel van het onderzoek naar de ecotoxiciteit van immunologische geneesmiddelen voor diergeneeskundig gebruik is de eventuele schadelijke gevolgen te kunnen beoordelen die het gebruik van het voor het milieu kan hebben en eventueel noodzakelijke voorzorgsmaatregelen ter beperking van deze risico's te kunnen specificeren.
The purpose of the study of the ecotoxicity of an immunological veterinary medicinal product is to assess the potential harmful effects which the use of the product may cause to the environment and to identify any precautionary measures which may be necessary to reduce such risks.

5.1. Het doel van het onderzoek naar de ecotoxiciteit van geneesmiddelen voor diergeneeskundig gebruik is de eventuele schadelijke gevolgen te kunnen beoordelen die het gebruik van het geneesmiddel voor het milieu kan hebben, en eventueel noodzakelijke voorzorgsmaatregelen ter beperking van deze risico's te kunnen specificeren.
