Rekening gehouden met de beperking van haar activiteitengebied dient de Autoriteit niet meer „Toezichtautoriteit voor het Europees GNSS” te worden genoemd, maar „Europees GNSS-Agentschap” (hierna „het Agentschap”).
In view of its reduced sphere of activity, the Authority should no longer be called the ‘European GNSS Supervisory Authority’, but rather the ‘European GNSS Agency’ (hereinafter the ‘Agency’).

In de gehele Verordening (EG) nr. 683/2008 worden de woorden „Toezichtautoriteit voor het Europees GNSS” en „Autoriteit” vervangen door respectievelijk „Europees GNSS-Agentschap” en „Agentschap”.
Throughout Regulation (EC) No 683/2008, the words ‘European GNSS Supervisory Authority’ and ‘Authority’ shall be replaced by ‘European GNSS Agency’ and ‘Agency’ respectively.

(1) Uit artikel 14 van Verordening (EU) nr. 1285/2013 van het Europees Parlement en de Raad in combinatie met artikel 2 van Verordening (EU) nr. 912/2010 van het Europees Parlement en de Raad volgt dat het Europees GNSS-Agentschap ( het „Agentschap”) moet zorgen voor de veiligheidsaccreditatie van de Europese systemen voor satellietnavigatie (de „systemen”) en dat het daartoe een begin maakt met, en toeziet op de uitvoering van beveiligingsprocedures en de verrichting van controles van de beveiliging .
(1) It follows from the combined provisions of Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 1285 /2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Article 2 of Regulation (EU) No 912/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council that the European GNSS Agency (the ‘ Agency’ ) is to ensure the security accreditation of the European satellite navigation systems (the ‘ systems’ ) and, to that end, initiate and monitor the implementation of security procedures and the performance of security audits.

A. overwegende dat het Europees GNSS-Agentschap („het Agentschap”) in 2006 financieel zelfstandig is geworden;
A. whereas the European GNSS Agency (‘the Agency’) became financially autonomous in 2006,

1. verleent de uitvoerend directeur van het Europees GNSS-Agentschap kwijting voor de uitvoering van de begroting van het Agentschap voor het begrotingsjaar 2011;
