In achtereenvolgende amendementen op het protocol zijn hier andere CFK's, koolstoftetrachloride, methylchloroform, methylbromide, broomfluorkoolwaterstoffen (HBFK's) en hydrochloorfluorkoolwaterstoffen (HCFK's, gebruikt ter vervanging van CFK's) aan toegevoegd.
