indelingsbesluiten, indelingsadviezen of wijzigingen in de toelichtingen op de nomenclatuur van het geharmoniseerde systeem inzake de omschrijving en de codering van goederen aangenomen door de organisatie die is opgezet bij het Verdrag houdende oprichting van een Internationale Douaneraad, gedaan te Brussel op 15 december 1950, met ingang van de datum waarop de mededeling van de Commissie in de C-reeks van het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie worden bekendgemaakt; of
classification decisions, classification opinions or amendments of the explanatory notes to the Nomenclature of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, adopted by the Organization set-up by the Convention establishing a Customs Co-operation Council, done at Brussels on 15 December 1950, with effect from the date of publication of the Commission Communication in the 'C' series of the Official Journal of the European Union; or

OVERWEGENDE dat de ontwikkeling van de technologie en de veranderingen in de structuur van de internationale handel ingrijpende wijzigingen nodig maken in het Verdrag inzake de nomenclatuur voor de indeling van goederen in de douanetarieven, gedaan te Brussel op 15 december 1950;
CONSIDERING that changes in technology and the patterns of international trade require extensive modifications to the Convention on Nomenclature for the Classification of Goods in Customs Tariffs, done at Brussels on 15 December 1950,

Overwegende dat het in de bedoeling ligt dat dit Verdrag, als internationale grondslag voor de douanetarieven en de statistische nomenclaturen, in de plaats treedt van het op 15 december 1950 te Brussel ondertekende Verdrag inzake de nomenclatuur, dat thans als grondslag voor het gemeenschappelijk douanetarief en de NIMEXE wordt gebruikt;
Whereas this Convention is intended to replace, as the international basis for customs tariffs and statistical nomenclatures, the Convention on Nomenclature signed in Brussels on 15 December 1950, which is currently used as the basis for the Common Customs Tariff and NIMEXE;

Overwegende dat de Lid-Staten Partij zijn bij de Overeenkomst van 15 december 1950 inzake de nomenclatuur voor de indeling der goederen in de douanetarieven , genaamd " Naamlijst van Brussel " ,
