In accordance with the second indent of paragraph 2 of Article 67 of the Treaty, Council Decision 2004/927/EC of 22 December 2004 providing for certain areas covered by Title IV of Part Three of the Treaty establishing the European Community to be governed by the procedure laid down in Article 251 of that Treaty rendered the procedure referred to in Article 251 of the Treaty applicable in the areas covered by Articles 62(1), (2)(a) and (3) and 63(2)(b) and (3)(b) of that Treaty,

Het in artikel 8 van Besluit 2000/821/EG en artikel 6 van Besluit nr. 163/2001/EG bedoelde comité wordt vervangen door het in artikel 11 van dit besluit bedoelde comité.
The committee provided for by Article 8 of Decision No 2000/821/EC and Article 6 of Decision No 163/2001/EC shall be replaced by the committee provided for under Article 11 of this Decision.

This Regulation shall not affect agreements by which Member States undertook, prior to the entry into force of Regulation (EC) No 44/2001, pursuant to Article 59 of the Brussels Convention on jurisdiction and the enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters, not to recognise judgments given, in particular in other Contracting States to that Convention, against defendants domiciled or habitually resident in a third country where, in cases provided for in Article 4 of that Convention, the judgment could only be founded on a ground of jurisdiction specified in the second paragraph of Article 3 of that Convention.

(8) Het in artikel 147 van het Verdrag bedoelde comité, het Comité voor landbouwstructuur en plattelandsontwikkeling en het Comité voor visserij en aquacultuur zijn over deze verordening geraadpleegd.
(8) The Committee referred to in Article 147 of the Treaty, the Committee on Agricultural Structures and Rural Development and the Committee on Structures for Fisheries and Aquaculture have been consulted on this Regulation.

2. dringt er bij de EU-lidstaten en kandidaat‑landen die het Verdrag van Rome nog niet hebben geratificeerd op aan om zo spoedig mogelijk hiertoe over te gaan, zonder op grond van artikel 124 van het Verdrag een voorbehoud te maken ten aanzien van oorlogsmisdaden;
2. Urges the Member States of the EU and the applicant countries that have not yet ratified the Rome Treaty to do so as soon as possible, without opting out on war crimes, pursuant to Article 124 of the Treaty;
