TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

HERHAALT dat een koolstofheffing voor de emissies van het wereldwijde lucht- en zeevervoer het prijssignaal zou afgeven dat nodig is om in deze sectoren daadwerkelijk tot meer emissiereducties te komen en dat een koolstofheffing op het wereldwijde lucht- en zeevervoer goed zou kunnen zijn voor grote financiële stromen; VERZOEKT de Commissie om uiterlijk juni dit jaar met een discussienota over koolstofheffing op het wereldwijde lucht- en zeevervoer te komen, rekening houdend met de ontwikkelingen in de IMO en de ICAO en de werkzaamheden die de AGF, de Wereldbank en andere internationale organisaties eerder voor de G20 hebben verricht; BEKLEMTOONT dat rekening moet worden gehouden met de nationale begrotingsregels en de beginselen en bepalingen van het UNFCCC die gelden voor het gebruik van potentiële inkomsten; ROEPT de partijen bij de IMO en de ICAO OP zich nog meer in te spannen om vooruitgang te boeken op het gebied van marktgebaseerde mechanismen waarmee emissies van het wereldwijde lucht- en zeevervoer kunnen worden aangepakt;
REITERATES that the carbon pricing of global aviation and maritime transportation would generate the necessary price signal to efficiently achieve more emission reductions from these sectors and that carbon pricing of global aviation and maritime transportation have as well the potential to generate large financial flows; INVITES the Commission to prepare a reflection paper by June on carbon pricing of global aviation and maritime transportation taking into account the developments in IMO and ICAO and previous work by AGF and by the World bank and other international organizations for the G20; STRESSES the need of taking into account national budgetary rules and the principles and provisions of the UNFCCC in the use of potential revenue; URGES Parties to IMO and ICAO to further increase their efforts to make progress on market based mechanisms to address emissions from global aviation and maritime transportation;
