We willen ditzo houden en we vertrouwen erop dat de Amerikaanse regering hetzelfde zal doen door ervoor te zorgen dat de geschillen inzake Airbus/Boeing geen negatieve invloed hebben opde mogelijkheid van beide bedrijven om eerlijk te concurreren bij de concurrentie voor overheidsopdrachten.In het bijzonder dienen er geen mededingingsverstorende maatregelen in het wetgevings- ofuitvoeringsbeleidte worden ingevoerd die de mogelijkheid van EU-bedrijven zouden kunnen beperken in hun concurrentiepositiein hethuidige Amerikaanse herkapitalisatieprogramma voor luchttankers.
We intend to keep it that way and we trust that the US Government will do the same by ensuring that the Airbus/Boeing disputes are not allowed to affect either company's ability to compete fairly in public procurement competitions. Notably, there should be no anti-competitive actions in legislation or executive policy that would restrict the ability of EU companies to compete in the current US aerial tanker recapitalisation programme.
