De twee bekendste regelingen werden aangenomen in 2011 resp. 2010: de OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (OESO-richtsnoeren voor passende zorgvuldigheid) en Section 1502 van de Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act in de Verenigde Staten.
The two best-known were adopted in 2011 and 2010 respectively: the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (OECD Due Diligence Guidance) and Section 1502 of the United States Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

De OESO-richtsnoeren inzake zorgvuldigheidseisen voor verantwoorde bevoorradingsketens van bodemschatten uit door conflicten getroffen gebieden en risicogebieden (OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas) is aangenomen door de OESO-Ministerraad op 25 mei 2011.
The OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas was adopted by the OECD Ministerial Council on 25 May 2011.

The Commission is closely involved in international efforts to address the issue of conflict minerals and strongly supports the OECD's Due Diligence Guidance on Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals of Minerals from Conflict-affected and High Risk Areas.
