Als ik luister naar de standpunten die de Commissie en mijn collega's hebben ingenomen of over hun stellingname lees, dan krijg ik het gevoel dat zij zich met het beroep van notarisklerk identificeren, door de strikte, nauwgezette wijze waarop zij de afgeronde hoofdstukken noteren, waarbij ze zo nodig extra stappen toevoegen, zoals met betrekking tot bilaterale problemen tussen Slovenië en Kroatië.
Listening to and reading the positions adopted by the Commission and by my fellow Members, I rather feel that it is the profession of clerk that they identify with, with their strict, scrupulous noting of the chapters accomplished, and their adding, where necessary, of additional stages such as bilateral problems between Slovenia and Croatia.
