Calls on the Commission and Member States to make the same level of funding available to male and female athletes alike and to co-finance projects through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support sport infrastructure adapted to the needs of women and through the European Social Fund (ESF) to support the development of the skills and employability of women in the sport sector, including management and top-level positions in influential international sports agencies and federations such as the Fédération Internationale de Football Association and the International Olympic Committee;
