COMMUNITY SYSTEM OF INFORMATION ON HOME AND LEISURE ACCIDENTS (EHLASS) The Council held a policy debate on the basis of a Commission communication and a proposal for a Decision introducing a Community system of information on home and leisure accidents.

On 8 February 1994, at the initiative of Mrs Christiane Scrivener, Member of the Commission responsible for taxation, customs and consumer affairs, the Commission decided to present a proposal for a Council Decision introducing a Community system of information on home and leisure accidents (new EHLASS programme) for 1994 to 1997.
