TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Wanneer een bevoegde autoriteit vermoedt of het bewijs heeft ontvangen dat een EU-quarantaineorganisme of een schadelijk organisme dat onderworpen is aan de krachtens artikel 30, lid 1, vastgestelde maatregelen aanwezig is op een deel van het grondgebied van de betreffende lidstaat waar dit schadelijk organisme voor zover bekend tot dusver niet voorkwam, of in een zending planten, plantaardige producten of ander materiaal die het grondgebied van de Unie worden binnengebracht, daarvoor bestemd zijn, of daarop worden vervoerd, neemt zij onmiddellijk alle maatregelen die noodzakelijk zijn om op basis van een diagnose door een in artikel 37 van Verordening ►C1 (EU) 2017/625 ◄ bedoeld officieel laboratorium te bevestigen („officieel bevestigen”) of het schadelijk organisme aanwezig is of niet.
Where a competent authority suspects, or has received evidence concerning, the presence of a Union quarantine pest, or a pest subject to measures adopted pursuant to Article 30(1), in a part of the territory of the respective Member State where that pest was previously not known to be present, or in a consignment of plants, plant products or other objects introduced into, intended to be introduced into, or moved within the Union territory, it shall immediately take any measures necessary to confirm on the basis of a diagnosis of an official laboratory as referred to in Article 37 of Regulation ►C1 (EU) 2017/625 ◄ (“to officially confirm”), whether that pest is present or not.

Bij wijze van eerste stap in het analyseproces moeten de schadelijke eigenschappen van het recipiënte micro-organisme en indien nodig van het als donor fungerende micro-organisme worden vastgesteld, de schadelijke effecten die verband houden met de vector of het geïnsereerde materiaal, met inbegrip van elke wijziging van de actuele eigenschappen van het recipiënte organisme.
The first stage in the assessment process should be to identify the harmful properties of the recipient and, where appropriate, the donor micro-organism, and any harmful properties associated with the vector or inserted material, including any alteration in the recipient’s existing properties.

„Sterk verschillen” zou onder meer kunnen inhouden dat bij de productiemethode van een procédé waarbij het product uit planten wordt verkregen, is overgestapt op productie door middel van gisting met behulp van een micro-organisme of door genetische modificatie van het oorspronkelijke micro-organisme, of dat er iets is veranderd in de uitgangsmaterialen of de deeltjesgrootte.
‘Significantly different’ could mean inter alia a change of the production method from extraction from a plant to production by fermentation using a micro-organism or a genetic modification of the original micro-organism, a change in starting materials, or a change in particle size.

„niet-doelsoort”: een soort of ondersoort van een aquatisch organisme die schadelijk kan zijn voor het aquatische milieu en die bij de introductie of translocatie van een ander aquatisch organisme onbedoeld samen met dat organisme wordt verplaatst, met uitzondering van ziekteveroorzakende organismen, waarop Richtlijn 2006/88/EG van toepassing is;

(4) Krachtens Richtlijn 2000/29/EG is het verboden waardplanten van Erwinia amylovora (Burr.) Winsl. et al., met uitzondering van vruchten en zaden, van oorsprong uit andere derde landen dan die welke als vrij van dit schadelijke organisme zijn erkend of dan die waar ten aanzien van dit schadelijke organisme ziektevrije gebieden zijn ingesteld, binnen te brengen in gebieden van de Gemeenschap die met betrekking tot dit schadelijke organisme als beschermde gebieden worden erkend.
(4) Under Directive 2000/29/EC, the introduction into the areas within the Community recognised as protected zones as regards Erwinia amylovora (Burr.) Winsl. et al. of the host plants, other than fruit and seeds, of this harmful organism, originating in third countries other than those recognised as being free from this harmful organism, or in which pest free areas have been established in relation to this harmful organism, is prohibited.

1". genetisch gemodificeerd organisme (GGO)": organisme als omschreven in artikel 2, punt 2, van Richtlijn 2001/18/EG, met uitzondering van organismen die verkregen zijn met de in bijlage IB van die richtlijn vermelde technieken voor genetische modificatie.
