38. verzoekt de overheden van de kandidaatlanden die dit nog niet hebben gedaan om zo snel mogelijk een aan de euro gekoppeld wisselkoersbeleid in te voeren en een intensievere dialoog met de Europese Unie aan te gaan over de uitdagingen en risico's van een gedeeltelijke monetaire integratie die voortvloeit uit een toenemend gebruik van de euro als parallelle munteenheid;
38. Calls on the authorities of the candidate countries which have not already done so to introduce, as soon as possible, exchange rate policies linked to the euro and to examine in detail, together with the authorities of the European Union, the challenges and risks posed by the partial monetary integration which will result from the increasing use of the euro as a parallel currency;
