IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Voor de toepassing van deze verordening en de op grond daarvan vastgestelde regels op internationale inschrijvingen met aanduiding van de Unie, is de taal van indiening van de internationale aanvraag de proceduretaal in de zin van artikel 119, lid 4, en is de tweede taal die in de internationale aanvraag wordt opgegeven, de tweede taal in de zin van artikel 119, lid 3”.
For the purpose of applying this Regulation, and rules adopted pursuant to it, to international registrations designating the Union, the language of filing of the international application shall be the language of the proceedings within the meaning of Article 119(4), and the second language indicated in the international application shall be the second language within the meaning of Article 119(3)’.

Indien de overeenkomstig lid 5 voor het oppositieschrift of de vordering tot vervallenverklaring of nietigverklaring gekozen taal noch de taal van de aanvraag voor een Uniemerk, noch de bij de indiening van deze aanvraag opgegeven tweede taal is, dient de opposant of de eiser in de procedure tot vervallenverklaring of nietigverklaring op zijn kosten een vertaling ervan in, op voorwaarde dat het een taal van het Bureau is, hetzij in de taal van de aanvraag voor het Uniemerk, hetzij in de bij de indiening van de aanvraag opgegeven tweede taal.
If the language chosen, in accordance with paragraph 5, for the notice of opposition or the application for revocation or invalidity is neither the language of the application for a trade mark nor the second language indicated when the application was filed, the opposing party or the party seeking revocation or invalidity shall be required to produce, at his own expense, a translation of his application either into the language of the application for a trade mark, provided that it is a language of the Office, or into the second language indicated when the application was filed.
