TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Om uniforme voorwaarden voor de uitvoering van deze verordening te waarborgen, moeten aan de Commissie uniforme uitvoeringsbevoegdheden worden verleend om, wanneer er bewijs is dat het Unierecht inzake het fokken van dieren op grote schaal niet wordt nageleefd in een derde land, speciale maatregelen te treffen om de gevolgen van die niet-naleving te beperken.
In order to ensure uniform conditions for the implementation of this Regulation, implementing powers should be conferred on the Commission to adopt, where there is evidence that widespread serious non-compliance with Union law on the breeding of animals is taking place in a third country, special measures in order to limit the impact of such non-compliance.

1. Wanneer er aanwijzingen zijn dat de voorschriften van deze verordening op grote schaal en op ernstige wijze niet worden nageleefd in een derde land, stelt de Commissie uitvoeringshandelingen vast met betrekking tot een of meer van de volgende maatregelen:
1. Where there is evidence that widespread serious non-compliance with the rules provided for in this Regulation is taking place in a third country, the Commission shall adopt implementing acts concerning one or more of the following:

1. Wanneer er, in andere gevallen dan bedoeld in artikel 53 van Verordening (EG) nr. 178/2002 en artikel 249 van Verordening (EU) 2016/429, aanwijzingen zijn dat de binnenkomst in de Unie van bepaalde dieren of goederen die afkomstig zijn uit een derde land, een regio daarvan of een groep van derde landen, een risico voor de gezondheid van mensen, dieren of planten, dan wel, wat ggo's en gewasbeschermingsmiddelen betreft, voor het milieu oplevert of wanneer er aanwijzingen zijn dat de in artikel 1, lid 2, van deze verordening bedoelde regelgeving op grote schaal en op ernstige wijze niet wordt nageleefd, stelt de Commissie door middel van uitvoeringshandelingen de maatregelen vast die noodzakelijk zijn om dat risico in te perken of de geconstateerde niet-naleving te beëindigen.
1. Where, in cases other than those referred to in Article 53 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 and Article 249 of Regulation (EU) 2016/429, there is evidence that the entry into the Union of certain animals or goods originating from a third country, a region thereof or a group of third countries, pose a risk to human, animal or plant health or, as regards GMOs, also to the environment, or where there is evidence that widespread serious non-compliance with the rules referred to in Article 1(2) of this Regulation is taking place, the Commission shall adopt, by means of implementing acts, the measures necessary to contain such risk or put an end to the identified non-compliance.

J. whereas, according to the African Development Bank, 75 per cent of the population of Tanzania are small-scale farmers; whereas pastoral communities live well and in harmony with protected wildlife and represent about 10 % of the Tanzanian population, including the Maasai, but continue to face the massive loss of their land arising from the selling of land without adequate knowledge of the legal and practical consequences, corrupt and illegal allocation of land to foreigners, and the classification of land as trust land, reserves or national parks by the authorities;

3. In afwijking van artikel 3, lid 2, van Verordening (EG) nr. 853/2004 en sectie VIII, hoofdstuk IV, punt 1, van bijlage III bij die verordening mogen exploitanten van levensmiddelenbedrijven in inrichtingen aan land na het koken van schaal- en weekdieren schoon water voor de afkoeling gebruiken.
3. By way of derogation from Article 3(2) of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 and Chapter IV(1) of Section VIII of Annex III to that Regulation, food business operators in establishments on land may use clean water for cooling after cooking crustaceans and molluscs.
