TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Dat werk is verricht in de twee fasen van het Technologisch initiatief voor gehandicapten en ouderen (TIDE 1991 - 1993); in het kader van het Vierde kaderprogramma (programma Telematicatoepassingen, toepassingen verband houdend met gehandicapten en ouderen, 1994 - 1998); en het huidige Vijfde kaderprogramma (programma Technologieën van de informatiemaatschappij, toepassingen verband houdend met personen met bijzondere behoeften, waaronder gehandicapten en ouderen, 1998 - 2002).
This work has been conducted in the two phases of the Technology Initiative for Disabled and Elderly persons (TIDE 1991 - 1993); in the Fourth Framework Programme (Telematics Applications Programme, Applications relating to disabled and elderly persons, 1994 - 1998); and in the present Fifth Framework Programme (Information Society Technologies programme, Applications relating to persons with special needs, including the disabled and the elderly, 1998 - 2002).

– having regard to the nine rounds of talks from 2002 to 2010 between high-ranking representatives of the Chinese government and the Dalai Lama; having regard to China’s White Paper on Tibet, entitled ‘Tibet’s Path of Development Is Driven by an Irresistible Historical Tide’ and published by China’s State Council Information Office on 15 April 2015; having regard to the 2008 Memorandum and the 2009 Note on Genuine Autonomy, both presented by the Representatives of the 14th Dalai Lama,

In haar eindverslag „ Riding the wave: How Europe can gain from the rising tide of scientific data” (5) van oktober 2010 benadrukte de deskundigengroep op hoog niveau over wetenschappelijke gegevens het essentiële belang van de uitwisseling en bewaring van in de loop van het wetenschappelijk proces geproduceerde gegevens.
In its final report ‘Riding the wave: How Europe can gain from the rising tide of scientific data’ (5) in October 2010, the High Level Expert Group on Scientific Data emphasised the critical importance of sharing and preserving reliable data produced during the scientific process.

De rapporteur erkent dat er reeds door de EU bevorderde en gefinancierde initiatieven bestaan op het vlak van toegang voor burgers in een achterstandspositie tot de informatiemaatschappij, zoals TIDE, en binnen het vierde en vijfde OTO-kaderprogramma.
The rapporteur acknowledges the initiatives promoted and financed by the EU in the field of access of disadvantaged categories of citizens to the Information Society, such as TIDE, and in the framework of the IV and the V FRTD Programmes.

Today the European Commission has adopted its Council decision proposal concerning a Technology Initiative for Disabled and Elderly people, for the coming two years called TIDE 1993-1994.
