Voorts gelden in heel de Europese Unie regels ter vermindering van de uitstoot van VOS (Richtlijn 94/63/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 20 december 1994 betreffende de beheersing van de uitstoot van vluchtige organische stoffen (VOS) als gevolg van de opslag van benzine en de distributie van benzine vanaf terminals naar benzinestations(4), Richtlijn 1999/13/EG van de Raad van 11 maart 1999 inzake de beperking van de emissie van vluchtige organische stoffen ten gevolge van het gebruik van organische oplosmiddelen bij bepaalde werkzaamheden en in installaties(5) en Richtlijn 96/61/EG van de Raad van 24 september 1996 inzake geïntegreerde preventie en bestrijding van verontreiniging(6)) en zijn er strategieën in voorbereiding om het VOS-gehalte van producten te reguleren, waardoor de ozonpieken zullen worden beperkt.

2.8. Voor emissies de uitstoot van gehalogeneerde vluchtige organische stoffen VOS waaraan de risicozin R40 of R68 is toegekend, waarbij de massastroom van de stoffen waarvoor de vermelding van R40 of R68 verplicht is, in totaal 100 g/uur of meer bedraagt, moet een emissiegrenswaarde van 20 mg/nm3 in acht worden genomen.
2.8. For discharges emissions of halogenated VOCs volatile organic compounds which are assigned the risk phrase R40 or R68 , where the mass flow of the sum of the compounds causing the labelling R40 or R68 is greater than, or equal to, 100 g/h, an emission limit value of 20 mg/Nm3 shall be complied with.

1.7. Voor emissies de uitstoot van de in artikel 53 lid 6 vermelde vluchtige organische stoffen VOS, waarbij de massastroom van de stoffen waarvoor de in dat artikel lid 6 vermelde etikettering verplicht is, in totaal 10 g/uur of meer bedraagt, moet een emissiegrenswaarde van 2 mg/nm3 in acht worden genomen.
1.7.
