TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Om een adequate voedselvoorziening te waarborgen, dient de productiviteit van de beschikbare grond behouden op peil te blijven en de vruchtbaarheid in biologisch, chemisch en fysiek opzicht gehandhaafd te worden.
In order to ensure an adequate supply of food, the productivity of available land must be maintained and fertility must be preserved in biological, chemical and physical terms.

De lidstaten moeten op grond van het EU-recht, en met name Richtlijn 2013/33/EU inzake opvangvoorzieningen en Richtlijn 2011/95/EU inzake asielprocedures, aan bepaalde verplichtingen voldoen. Zij moeten asielzoekers van meet af aan passende opvangvoorzieningen en gelijke toegang tot de arbeidsmarkt garanderen. Voorts moeten zij de toegang van begunstigden van bescherming tot banen vergemakkelijken, gelijke behandeling met betrekking tot de erkenning van diploma's garanderen en voorzien in specifieke facilitering van de erkenning van diploma's.
Member States have specific obligations under EU law - in particular under the Reception Conditions Directive (2013/33/EU) and the Qualification Directive (2011/95/EU) - to provide asylum seekers proper reception conditions from the outset, to ensure equal access to the labour market and facilitate access to jobs once protection status is granted, as well as to ensure equal treatment as regards diploma recognition and provide for specific facilitation.

Voorts moet, gelet op artikel 84, lid 1, van Verordening (EG) nr. 726/2004, op grond waarvan de lidstaten de sancties moeten vaststellen die van toepassing zijn op schendingen van de bepalingen van die verordening of van de op grond van die verordening vastgestelde verordeningen, en alle maatregelen moeten treffen die nodig zijn om de toepassing van die sancties te garanderen, slechts tot maatregelen op Gemeenschapsniveau worden overgegaan in de gevallen waarin de belangen van de Gemeenschap in het geding zijn.

Regrets the decision of the US government to decrease its financial support for the UN Population Fund (UNFPA); points to the UNFPA's instrumental role in achieving a voluntary decline of fertility rates in less developed countries; believes that access to contraceptives and reproductive services, the empowerment of girls and women, and the promotion of maternal and child health are crucial strategies for slowing population growth and maintaining resource sustainability; urges, therefore, the US government to increase its funding for the UNFPA;

Calls for public policies to promote infrastructures, equipment and public services ensuring general access for women to sex education and reproductive education, including control over their fertility, and to support motherhood and fatherhood, thus enabling women to plan their families and the other aspects of their lives and furthering all the conditions required for greater participation on a basis of equality;

Als de Commissie op basis van de in lid 7 bedoelde kennisgeving of op grond van nieuw wetenschappelijk advies van mening is dat een op grond van lid 1 of lid 2 vastgesteld beheersplan niet voldoende is om een hoog niveau van bescherming van de bestanden en het milieu te garanderen, kan zij, na overleg met de lidstaat, deze verzoeken het plan te wijzigen of de Raad een voorstel doen voor passende maatregelen ter bescherming van de bestanden en het milieu.
9. If the Commission, on the basis of the notification referred to in paragraph 7 or of new scientific advice, considers that a management plan adopted pursuant to either paragraph 1 or paragraph 2 is not sufficient to ensure a high level of protection of resources and the environment, it may, after having consulted the Member State, ask it to amend the plan or may propose to the Council appropriate measures for the protection of the resources and the environment.
