7. Calls on the Commission to set up a rapid and secure exchange of information and sharing of best practices between the Member States to effectively combat the illicit trade in cultural artefacts illegally removed from Iraq and Syria and to urge the Member States to use international tools against illicit trafficking in cultural goods for police and custom officers, such as Interpol’s dedicated database ‘I-24/7’ on stolen works of art and the online communication tool of the ARCHEO programme of the World Customs Organisation (WCO);

5. stelt de Commissie in dit verband voor om zich in overeenstemming met paragraaf 17 van resolutie 2199 van de VN-Veiligheidsraad van 12 februari 2015 te concentreren op de bestrijding van de illegale handel in culturele kunstwerken, met name in goederen die deel uitmaken van het cultureel erfgoed en die sinds 6 augustus 1990 op illegale wijze uit Irak en sinds 15 maart 2011 uit Syrië zijn weggehaald; verzoekt de Commissie een gecoördineerde benadering uit te stippelen voor de bestrijding van die illegale handel, daarbij samenwerkend met degenen die op nationaal niveau verantwoordelijk zijn voor de opsporingsdiensten en in nauwe samenwerking met de Unesco en andere internationale organisaties zoals de Icom (Internationale Raad van Musea), het Internationaal Blauwe Schild Comité (ICBS) van de Icom, Europol, Interpol, Unidroit (Internationaal Instituut voor de eenmaking van het privaatrecht), de WCO (Werelddouaneorganisatie), de Icomos (Internationale Raad voor Monumenten en Landschappen) en het Iccrom (Internationaal Centrum voor de Studie tot het behoud en de restauratie van culturele goederen);

Suggests in this context that the Commission, in line with paragraph 17 of UN Security Council Resolution 2199 of 12 February 2015, focus on the fight against illicit trade in cultural artefacts, specifically as regards items of cultural heritage illegally removed from Iraq since 6 August 1990 and from Syria since 15 March 2011; calls on the Commission to devise a coordinated approach for combating that illegal trade, working together with those responsible at national level in the investigation services and in close cooperation with UNESCO and other international organisations such as ICOM (International Council of Museums), ICOM’s International Committee of the Blue Shield (ICBS), Europol, Interpol, UNIDROIT (International Institute for the Unification of Private Law), the WCO (World Customs Organisation), ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites) and ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property);

37. Calls for the EU and its Member States to strongly support the International Consortium on combating Wildlife Crime (ICCWC), comprising CITES, Interpol, UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), the World Bank and the World Customs Organisation, including through provision of financial resources and specialist expertise, in order to facilitate capacity-building by governments and the exchange of information and intelligence, and support enforcement and compliance by ICCWC members;

48. verzoekt zijn Voorzitter deze resolutie te doen toekomen aan de Raad, de Commissie, het secretariaat van CITES, Interpol, Europol, UNODC, de Wereldbank en de Werelddouaneorganisatie.
48. Instructs its President to forward this resolution to the Council, the Commission, the CITES secretariat, Interpol, Europol, UNODC, the World Bank and the World Customs Organisation.

Deze codes worden waar nodig herzien in het licht van wijzigingen van de nomenclatuur van het geharmoniseerde systeem van de Werelddouaneorganisatie of in de gecombineerde nomenclatuur van de Europese Unie voor de betrokken chemische stoffen.
Those classifications shall be revised as necessary in the light of any changes made in the World Customs Organisation’s Harmonised System Nomenclature or in the European Union’s Combined Nomenclature for the chemicals concerned.

Verder wordt de impact van dit verdrag op de internationale handel nog bevestigd door lid 1 van dit artikel, luidens hetwelk de Werelddouaneorganisatie wordt aangemoedigd een specifieke douanecode van het geharmoniseerde systeem toe te kennen aan de afzonderlijke stoffen of groep stoffen die zijn opgenomen in bijlage III bij het Verdrag van Rotterdam, die bij uitvoer in het vervoersdocument voor de betrokken stof verplicht moet worden vermeld.
Moreover, the impact of the Convention on international trade is further confirmed by Article 13(1), under which the World Customs Organisation is called on to assign to the individual chemicals or groups of chemicals listed in Annex III to the Convention specific Harmonised System customs codes, which must appear on the shipping document for the chemicals in question.

Luidens lid 1 van dit artikel „moedigt de Conferentie van de partijen de Werelddouaneorganisatie aan specifieke douanecodes van het geharmoniseerde systeem toe te kennen aan, naar gelang van het geval, de afzonderlijke chemische stoffen of de groepen chemische stoffen die zijn opgenomen in bijlage III”.
According to Article 13(1), ‘[t]he Conference of the Parties shall encourage the World Customs Organisation to assign specific Harmonised System customs codes to the individual chemicals or groups of chemicals listed in Annex III, as appropriate’.
