De 29e bijeenkomst van het visserijcomité van de FAO, die van 31 januari tot en met 4 februari 2011 werd gehouden in Rome, concludeerde dat havenstaatmaatregelen een krachtig en kosteneffectief instrument vormden om IOO-visserij te bestrijden. Het comité verzocht de FAO een open werkgroep ad hoc of een vergelijkbare constructie in het leven te roepen. Deze zou de taakomschrijving moeten opstellen van de ad-hocwerkgroep die in artikel 21 van de overeenkomst beoogd wordt, om ontwikkelingslanden te helpen bij de tenuitvoerlegging van dit instrument.
The recent 29th Session of the FAO Committee on Fisheries, held in Rome from 31 January to 4 February 2011, agreed that port state measures were a potent and cost-effective tool to combat IUU fishing and requested the FAO to form an open-ended working group or similar mechanism to draft the terms of reference for the ad-hoc group envisaged in Article 21 of the Agreement, in order to assist developing countries in the implementation of this instrument.

17. dringt er bij de Commissie en de internationale gemeenschap met klem op aan de gezondheidstoestand van de bevolking in Haïti in het oog te houden, met name die van vrouwen en kinderen; verlangt de instelling van een werkgroep ad-hoc die een databank zou moeten opstellen met gegevens over de gezondheid van alle Haïtiaanse kinderen, waardoor het thans in Haïti werkzame medische personeel de kwaliteit van de eerste hulp zou kunnen verbeteren en toegang zou krijgen tot een nuttig instrument ter voorkoming van de gebruikelijke kinderziektes en andere algemene infecties;
17. Strongly urges the European Commission and the international community to monitor the health situation of the Haitian population, especially women and children; calls for the establishment of an ad hoc group with the objective of creating a database containing health information concerning all Haitian children so the medical staff currently operating in Haiti will be able to optimise the quality of first aid and will have access to a useful instrument for preventing common childhood diseases and other general infections;

4. toont zich verheugd over de aanbeveling van de Commissie dat de Raad een technische werkgroep ad hoc instelt die belast wordt met het opstellen van het toetredingsverdrag; beveelt eveneens aan dat de werkzaamheden van deze werkgroep parallel met de onderhandelingen verlopen en daarom van start gaan tijdens het eerste semester van 2009; is bovendien ingenomen met het voornemen van de Commissie om in de loop van 2009 een mededeling voor te leggen met een gedetailleerde beschrijving van de financiële impact van de toetreding van Kroatië tot de EU;

Welcomes the Commission's recommendation that the Council should set up the ad hoc technical working party in charge of drafting the Accession Treaty; also recommends that this group should work in parallel with the negotiations and therefore start its work during the first half of 2009; in addition, welcomes the Commission's intention to present a communication in the course of 2009 detailing the financial impact of the accession of Croatia to the EU;

19. De leidende bevoegde instantie stelt met de hulp van de leden van het BMEU een werkgroep ad hoc samen, zoals bedoeld in punt 1 van bijlage IV van de verordening.
19. The lead competent body shall, with the assistance of members of the EUEB, form an ad hoc working group, as referred to in Annex IV(1) of the said Regulation.

21. De leidende bevoegde instantie belegt ten minste één vergadering van deze werkgroep ad hoc en zit deze voor.

20. Alle bevoegde instanties trachten actief het standpunt van alle betrokken partijen in hun land ten aanzien van de betrokken productengroep te peilen en delen deze standpunten mee aan de werkgroep ad hoc en het BMEU.
20. All competent bodies shall actively seek the opinion of all interested parties in their country in relation to the product group in question, and shall communicate these opinions to the ad hoc working group and to the EUEB.

(6) In bijlage IV, punt 1, van Verordening (EG) nr. 1980/2000 wordt bepaald dat voor elke productengroep in het BMEU een specifieke werkgroep ad hoc voor de ontwikkeling van criteria voor de milieukeur wordt ingesteld waarin de in artikel 15 bedoelde betrokken partijen en de in artikel 14 bedoelde bevoegde instanties vertegenwoordigd zijn.
(6) Annex IV(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1980/2000 provides that a specific ad hoc working group involving the interested parties referred to in Article 15 and the competent bodies referred to in Article 14 will be established within the EUEB for the development of Eco-Label criteria for each product group.

(9) In bijlage IV, punt 1, van Verordening (EG) nr. 1980/2000 wordt bepaald dat voor elke productengroep in het BMEU een specifieke werkgroep ad hoc voor de ontwikkeling van criteria voor de milieukeur wordt ingesteld waarin de in artikel 15 bedoelde betrokken partijen en de in artikel 14 bedoelde bevoegde instanties vertegenwoordigd zijn.
