Er is nog een aantal zaken waar we, wat het beleid inzake illegale immigratie betreft, nog eens goed naar kijken moeten. Ik denk daarbij bijvoorbeeld aan de wet inzake sancties tegen werknemers die illegaal onderdanen van derde landen, of zelfs illegale immigranten, in dienst hebben.

75. is zeer bezorgd over de situatie van vrouwen en meisjes in Iran, de Democratische Republiek Congo en Afghanistan; veroordeelt de wrede schendingen van de rechten van vrouwen in de DRC; dringt er bij de internationale gemeenschap op aan aanzienlijk meer middelen ter beschikking te stellen voor inspanningen om vrouwen tegen verkrachting te beschermen en benadrukt dat op internationaal niveau met spoed bijzondere aandacht moet worden besteed aan de situatie van vrouwen en meisjes in de DRC; veroordeelt de in maart 2009 aangenomen sjiitische wet inzake het personenrecht, dat het recht van Afghaanse vrouwen met voeten treedt en in strijd is met de Afghaanse grondwet en met internationale mensenrechtelijke normen; is ingenomen met wijzigingen in de wet „Personal Affairs of the Followers of Shia Jurisprudence”, maar blijft zich zorgen maken over sommige artikelen van die wet, die in strijd zijn met de verplichtingen van Afghanistan uit hoofde van het Internationaal Verdrag inzake burgerrechten en politieke rechten, het Verdrag inzake de uitbanning van alle vormen van discriminatie van vrouwen en het Verdrag inzake de rechten van het kind; vraagt de Afghaanse autoriteiten dringend onverwijld actie te ondernemen om de situatie van de vrouwenrechten in het land te verbeteren;
75. Is deeply concerned about the situation of women and girls in Iran, DRC, Afghanistan; condemns brutal violations of womens‘ rights in DRC, urges the international community to significantly increase funds aimed at efforts to protect women from rape, and stresses that major international attention must be given as a matter of urgency to the situation of women and girls in the DRC; condemns the Shia Personal Status Law adopted in March 2009, which strongly violates the rights of Afghan women and contradicts the Afghan Constitution and international human rights standards; welcomes amendments made to the law on ’Personal Affairs of the Followers of Shia Jurisprudence‘ but remains deeply concerned about certain articles of the law, which contradict the obligations of Afghanistan under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child; urges the Afghan authorities to take action without delay to improve the situation of women's rights in the country;
