5. is er ernstig bezorgd over dat Rusland doende is zijn defensieve en offensieve strijdkrachten in het Zwarte Zeegebied uit te bouwen en dat het een uitbreiding en modernisering van de Zwarte Zeevloot op touw zet met zes nieuwe moderne dieselonderzeeërs (type Rostov aan de Don) en zes nieuwe fregatten (type Admiraal Grigorovitsj); herinnert eraan dat Rusland door de stationering van offensief luchtmachtmaterieel en de verbetering van de militaire infrastructuur op de Krim zijn offensieve slagkracht versterkt en grotere mogelijkheden krijgt om buiten het eigen grondgebied macht uit te oefenen;

Is deeply concerned about Russia’s current defensive and offensive military build-up in the Black Sea, and the planned expansion and modernisation of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, involving the addition of six new modern diesel submarines of the Rostov-on-Don type and six new frigates of the Admiral Grigorovich type; recalls that the positioning of offensive air force assets, and the upgrading of Crimean military infrastructures, will enhance Russia’s offensive military posture as well as its ability to project power beyond its territory;
