De Nederlandse Maatschappij van het Rode Kruis zal namens ECHO, het Bureau van de Europese Gemeenschap voor Humanitaire Hulp, belast worden met de aankoop en de verdeling van medische pakketten aan kinderziekenhuizen in 12 regio's in het zuiden van Europees Rusland : Volgograd, Rostov, Kalmia, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Adygië, Dagestan, Noord-Ossetië, Kabardoni-Balkaria, Karatsjajevo- Tsjerkessië en Tsjetsjeno-Ingoesjetië. 500. 000 ecu zullen voor deze actie worden uitgetrokken.
The Dutch Red Cross, acting for the European Community Humanitarian Office (ECHO), will see to the purchase and distribution of the medical kits to children's hospitals in twelve oblasts in the European part of southern Russia: Volgograd, Rostov, Kalmykia, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Adygeya, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Cherkessia and Chechen-Ingushetia.
