Volgens artikel 8, lid 2, van het standaardreglement van orde voor comités[31] die zijn opgericht volgens artikel 7, lid 1, van Besluit 1999/468/EG, kan de voorzitter van een comité besluiten betrokken derden uit te nodigen om een vergadering van het comité bij te wonen.

Dit verslag wordt ingediend krachtens artikel 8 van Besluit nr. 508/2000/EG van 14 februari 2000 tot instelling van het programma "Cultuur 2000" (hierna te noemen: "het besluit") [2], waarin is vastgelegd dat de Commissie uiterlijk op 31 december 2002 aan het Europees Parlement, de Raad, het Europees Economisch en Sociaal Comité en het Comité van de Regio's en gedetailleerd evaluatierapport moet voorleggen over de resultaten van het programma Cultuur 2000 ten aanzien van de doelstellingen van dat programma en zo nodig vergezeld van een voorstel tot wijziging van het besluit.
This report is being presented under Article 8 of Decision 508/2000/EC of 14 February 2000 establishing the Culture 2000 Programme (hereinafter the "Decision") [2], which establishes that no later than 31 December 2002 the Commission shall present to the European Parliament, the Council, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions a detailed assessment report on the results of the Culture 2000 Programme, having regard to its objectives, and accompanied if necessary by a proposal for the amendment of the Decision.

ANNEX I Council conclusions on fraud and the 1995 work programme in this area THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, - recalling the Essen European Council conclusions on the need for fraud, wastefulness and mismanagement to be combated with the greatest rigour and the call for concerted action by the institutions and the Member States, as well as the ECOFIN Council conclusions on combating fraud; - recalling that under EC Article 209a "Member States shall take the same measures to counter fraud affecting the financial interests of the Community as they take to counter fraud affecting their own financial interests"; - recalling the procedures provided for in Articles 169 to 171 as amended by the EC Treaty; - taking note of the report of the European Court of Auditors for the financial year 1993 and the relevant special reports and pointing to the Council's interest in seeing the Court's comments followed up with a view to tight, efficient management and financial control; - having examined the Commission's annual report on the fight against fraud in 1994 and its work programme for 1995; - taking note of the proceedings of the Advisory Committee for the Coordination of Fraud Prevention on 31 May 1995, HAS ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING CONCLUSIONS: 1.

De Raad heeft tevens, voor wat de Gemeenschap betreft, twee ontwerp-besluiten goedgekeurd die die Gemengde Comités moeten nemen (respectievelijk nr. 2/94 EG-Republiek Tsjechië en nr. 3/94 EG-Republiek Slowakije) tot wijziging van Besluit nr. 1/93 van 28 mei 1993 betreffende de invoer van bepaalde staalprodukten uit Tsjechië en Slowakije in de Gemeenschap.
