TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Om de meer dan 70 technologiegebieden te bestrijken is het de bedoeling dat zeven technische deskundigen (toegevoegde rapporteurs) het Gemeenschapsoctrooigerecht bij de behandeling van zaken in eerste aanleg bijstaan op de volgende gebieden: (1) anorganische chemie en materiaalkunde, (2) organische en polymeerchemie, (3) biochemie en biotechnologie, (4) algemene fysica, (5) werktuigbouwkunde, (6) informatie- en communicatietechnologie en (7) elektrotechniek.
To cover the more than 70 fields of technology, seven such technical experts (assistant rapporteurs) are foreseen for the first instance Community Patent Court in the following sub-divisions (1) inorganic chemistry and materials science, (2) organic and polymer chemistry, (3) biochemistry and biotechnology, (4) general physics, (5) mechanical engineering, (6) information and communication technology and (7) electrical engineering.

Urges the Commission not only to complain about the unacceptable behaviour of some trading partners but also to react in a strict and proper way in this regard; reminds the Commission of the fact that, besides trade policy, there are other policies such as agriculture, environment, development, research and foreign affairs that have to support a joint policy on raw materials supply; stresses the need to support and develop research, in particular as regards bio-vegetal chemistry, and recycling of chemical substances, in order to lessen the EU's dependence on countries supplying raw materials and rare earths;

Life sciences, biotechnology and biochemistry for sustainable non-food products and processes: improved crops and forest resources, feed-stocks, marine products and biomass (including marine resources) for energy, environment, and products with high added value such as materials and chemicals (including biological resources utilisable in pharmaceutical industry and medicine), including novel farming systems, bio-processes and bio-refinery concepts; bio-catalysis; new and improved micro-organisms and enzymes; forestry and forest based products and processes; environmental bio-remediation and cleaner bio-processing, the utilisation of agro-industrial wastes and by-products.
