‘fire protection equipment’ means the equipment and systems utilised in fire prevention or suppression applications and includes fire extinguishers;

(11) Indien er geschikte alternatieven voor het gebruik van specifieke gefluoreerde broeikasgassen beschikbaar zijn, moeten er verbods bepalingen ten aanzien van het op de markt brengen van nieuwe apparatuur voor koeling, klimaatregeling en brandbeveiliging die deze stoffen bevat of nodig heeft voor de werking ervan, worden ingevoerd.
(11) Where suitable alternatives to the use of specific fluorinated greenhouse gases are available, bans on the placing on the market of new equipment for refrigeration, air-conditioning and fire protection that contains, or whose functioning relies upon, those substances should be introduced.

(8) Er moeten extra verbodsbepalingen ten aanzien van het op de markt brengen van nieuwe apparatuur voor koeling, klimaatregeling en brandbeveiliging die middels specifieke gefluoreerde broeikasgassen werkt, worden ingevoerd indien er geschikte alternatieven voor het gebruik van die stoffen beschikbaar zijn.
(8) Additional bans on the placing on the market of new equipment for refrigeration, air-conditioning and fire protection that operate using specific fluorinated greenhouse gases should be introduced where suitable alternatives to the use of those substances are available.
