Ik sta dan ook achter het voorstel van de rapporteur om van de EU-lidstaten te verlangen dat zij jaarlijks aan de Commissie verslag uitbrengen over de activiteiten van hun ECA's wat betreft risicocalculaties en om de openbaarmaking van extracomptabele vehikels (buitenbalansvehikels) en de bekendmaking van sociale en milieurisicocalculaties verplicht te stellen.
I therefore agree with the rapporteur’s proposal to establish a requirement for the EU Member States to report to the Commission annually on the activities of their ECAs as regards risk calculations and the disclosure of off-balance sheet vehicles, and to make the notification of social and environmental risk calculations mandatory.
