Definition: States of subjective distress and emotional disturbance, usually interfering with social functioning and performance, arising in the period of adaptation to a significant life change or a stressful life event. The stressor may have affected the integrity of an individual's social network (bereavement, separation experiences) or the wider system of social supports and values (migration, refugee status), or represented a major developmental transition or crisis (going to school, becoming a parent, failure to attain a cherished personal goal, retirement). Individual predisposition or vulnerability plays an important role in the risk of occurrence and the shaping of the manifestations of adjustment disorders, but it is nevertheless assumed that the condition would not have arisen without the stressor. The manifestations vary and include depressed mood, anxiety or worry (or mixture of these), a feeling of inability to cope, plan ahead, or continue in the present situation, as well as some degree of disability in 9the performance of daily routine. Conduct disorders may be an associated feature, particularly in adolescents. TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

24. Met het oog op de verdere ontkoppeling van de communautaire steun zijn in het kader van de op communautair niveau vastgelegde beleidslijnen en procedures, alsmede in de partnerschapsovereenkomsten [18] veranderingen noodzakelijk van de rechtsgrondslagen van een aantal financieringsinstrumenten van de communautaire steun.
24. In order to further untie Community aid, the policies and procedures defined at Community level and the partnership agreements [18] require changes to the legal bases of a whole set of financial instruments of Community aid.

Therefore, Community aid should nevertheless be available if a Member State intends to extend or make more effective a scheme already in place that would otherwise be eligible, provided that certain maximum co-financing rates are abided by as regards the proportion of Community aid to the total national funding.

Indien een lidstaat echter reeds beschikt over een regeling die uit hoofde van deze verordening in aanmerking zou komen voor communautaire steun, en van plan is die regeling uit te breiden of haar doeltreffender te maken, onder meer wat betreft de doelgroep van de regeling, de duur ervan of de in aanmerking komende producten, kan communautaire steun worden verstrekt, mits de maxima van lid 4, onder b), worden nagekomen wat betreft de verhouding van de communautaire steun tot de totale nationale bijdrage.
However, if a Member State already has a scheme in place that would be eligible for Community aid under this Article and intends to extend it or make it more effective, including as regards the target group of the scheme, its duration or eligible products, Community aid may be granted provided that the limits of paragraph 4(b) are abided by as regards the proportion of Community aid to the total national contribution.
