TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Is concerned by the continued existence of blood feuds in Albania, which not only trigger murder and violence but also force many children to stay home indefinitely, and thus have far-reaching social consequences affecting the lives of many thousands of people; notes that the number of blood feud murder cases is increasing; calls on the Albanian authorities to respond to the demand by the United Nations and the recommendations of the Ombudsman to create a reliable database, to activate the Coordinating Council for the Fight Against Blood Feuds set up in 2005 and to develop an action plan to tackle blood feuds;
