A. overwegende dat een consortium van journalisten, het Internationaal Consortium van onderzoeksjournalisten (ICIJ), dat onderzoek heeft gedaan naar fiscale rulings en andere schadelijke praktijken in Luxemburg (Luxleaks), in november 2014 onthulde dat bijna 340 multinationale bedrijven geheime afspraken hadden gemaakt met Luxemburg die veel van die bedrijven in staat stelden hun mondiale belastingafdrachten tot een minimum te beperken in het nadeel van het publiek belang van de Unie, terwijl zij weinig tot geen economische activiteit in Luxemburg creëerden;
A. whereas a consortium of journalists, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), on tax rulings and other harmful practices in Luxembourg (LuxLeaks) revealed in November 2014 that nearly 340 multinational companies (MNC) secured secret deals from Luxembourg that allowed many of them to slash their global tax bills to a minimum, to the detriment of Union public interest, while creating little or no economic activity within Luxembourg;
