Vervolgens heeft de heer Dehaene kort stilgestaan bij de resultaten van de verschillende werkgroepen van de Conventie. Hij was vooral te spreken over de conclusies van de verslagen van de werkgroepen over subsidiariteit, de nationale parlementen, het grondrechtenhandvest en de rechtspersoonlijkheid van de Unie; uit de conclusies van de werkgroepen over economisch bestuur en complementaire bevoegdheden daarentegen blijkt minder eensgezindheid.
Mr Dehaene next went on to briefly review the results obtained by the different working groups in order to welcome the conclusions of the reports on subsidiarity, national parliaments, the Charter and the legal status of the Union. He highlighted the less consensual character of the conclusions of the working groups on economic governance and on complimentary competences.
